Atmospheric Corrosivity Monitor (ACM) measure the corrosion potential of an enclosed environment with ease and accuracy on a real-time basis. It also measures and monitors the room temperature, relative humidity and optionally, the differential pressure.
Atmospheric Corrosivity Monitor measure the corrosion potential of an enclosed space through copper and silver sensors. It is based on Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) technology, which measures the rate of increase of corroded metal sensor mass. The measurements are extrapolated in 24 hours for 30 days to know the severity level as per ANSI/ISA 71.04-2013 standard.
Atmospheric Corrosivity Monitor provides real-time monitoring and early detection of environmental corrosivity, allowing for proactive measures to prevent equipment damage and failures. It can also provide real-time information on room temperature, relative humidity and differential pressure.
Like any monitoring system, the Atmospheric Corrosivity Monitor requires regular maintenance, including sensor calibration and replacement, to ensure accurate and reliable measurements. Also, it provides the result on the basis of airflow in 24 hrs, which might give a fault result due to the absence of any contaminants or corrosive gases on that day.
