A hopper dryer is a type of drying equipment used in the plastic processing industry. It is designed to remove moisture from plastic resins or materials before they are processed in injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding machines. The hopper dryer consists of a drying chamber (hopper) where the plastic material is placed, and a heating element that circulates hot air to evaporate the moisture from the material. Once the material is adequately dried, it can be fed into the processing machine without the risk of defects caused by excessive moisture.
