Commercial and Industrial Desiccant Dehumidifier Operating Principle - How it WorksThe FFB Compact Dehumidifier removes moisture through a process of continuous “physical adsorption”. The moisture is adsorbed in the dehumidification sector by the fluted, desiccant synthesised rotor and is exhausted in the reactivation sector by a stream of hot air in a counter flow giving it a high efficiency in removing moisture.

A high desiccant to air rate ensures larger and more uniform performance. This compact unit can be used in any small area where humidity control is essential. It can be installed inside or outside the controlled area as a stand-alone unit, or attached to a central air-conditioning system to enhance its dehumidification capability. Overhead installation is also possible because of its relatively small size and weight. The unit can be made weather-proof for outside installation. It can be mobile, mounted on a trolley for applications. It is portable. It is self-contained, require minimum maintenance, CNC fabricated with Powder coated finish. India Plant is the hub for all manufacturing of FFBs for the Bry-Air Group including the new version of the compact dehumidifier with digital control. In the USA it is sold under the brand name: MiniPAC.
