Datuk Umang Sharma is the CEO of Bry-Air Malaysia, responsible for the South East Asian Region with Representative Offices in Indonesia and Vietnam.
He is a Member of the American Society of Air-Conditioning of Heating & Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the Malaysian Chapter of ASHRAE (MASHRAE) and Life Member of the Indian Chapter of ASHRAE (ISHRAE).
He has over 30 years of working experience in the field of Energy, Environment and HVAC, both in India and APAC. He has written and presented several technical papers at various International forums.
He is also the Founder Chairman of Consortium of Indian Industries in Malaysia (CIIM), initiated by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). CIIM is an industry apex body in Malaysia, comprising of Indian companies, operating in Malaysia, with investments from India.
Datuk Sharma has been bestowed with the Panglima Mahkota Wilayah (PMW) award, which carries the title “DATUK”, by the National King of Malaysia, His Majesty, Sultan Muhammad V, Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong XV, for his contributions in Malaysia.
He is a Mechanical Engineer from PEC University of Technology and MBA from the University of Strathclyde, UK
