Objectives

Bry-Air has instituted these awards recognizing that

• Innovators need to be encouraged continuously, to unleash their creative potential, for achieving cutting edge technological breakthroughs.
• Outstanding performance must be honoured.
• Young engineers should be motivated towards industry oriented research.
• Indian HVAC&R industry must be commended for development of innovative design suitable to the Indian sub-continent, which gives it a market advantage, globally.
• Interactions among academicians, R&D, industry and commercial sectors must be broadened.
• The art and science of HVAC&R has to be genuinely advanced. Bry-Air belives that excellence in technology supported by innovative and sustained collaborative R&D can give the Indian HVAC&R industry a competitive edge in the global HVAC&R marketplace.

The Awards

The Bry-Air Awards are presented annually to individuals, corporate or students who have made an outstanding contribution in the following categories:

• New/Innovative Systems Design
• New/Innovative Product Design
• Students Category for Most Outstanding and Innovative Projects

In each category, the winner will receive a trophy and a Cheque for Rs. 1,00,000 and the Runner-up will receive a Trophy and Cheque for Rs. 50,000.
