Mr. Deepak Pahwa, CMD Bry-Air Asia has acquired the global business interests and marketing rights from Bry-Air Inc. USA, which includes the Bry Air brand and all trademarks of Bry-Air Inc. USA .
Bry-Air Inc.USA will remain an autonomous and financially independent corporation with business (manufacturing, sales and marketing ) rights licensed for N.America (USA,Canada and Mexico) from Bry-Air (Asia) .
Bry-Air (Asia), headquartered in Delhi, is a privately held corporation ,a part of Pahwa Enterprises, which is a Rupees 100 crore plus operation with exports contributing to over 40% of the 100 crore turnover.
This acquisition strengthens Bry-Air Asia's position in the HVAC&R industry and its leadership in the air treatment market .
Bry-Air (Asia) has been at the forefront of dehumidification and industrial airtreatment technology, having pioneered the concept 25 years ago when it had entered into a JV with Bry-Air Inc USA .
Deepak Pahwa , CMD and owner of Bry-Air (Asia) in a statement at the recent board meeting said that with this acquisition and other initiatives underway, the group’s business business plans projected four fold increase in its tunover by the end of the decade,i.e. 2010
The other arm of the group, Desiccant Rotors International (DRI), which manufactures components and equipment to provide IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) and energy saving mainly to HVAC commercial segment like the Healthcare,Hospitality, Commercial spaces has last month signed a MOU with Blue Star Ltd., to provide a Quality Air Management Equipment and Solutions to the HVAC&R Industry in Asia.
One might recall, Pahwa acquired Puriflair India from SPX Air-treatment, a Fortune global company, two years ago.
A technocrat and a first generation businessman, Pahwa's focus has been R&D oriented technological based growth. In the last year few years, the company has been gearing up to handle its expanded growth by investing in world class test facilities and international certification for its products, upgrading its manufacturing infrastructure and processes by adding CNC and powder coating infrastructure, 3-D modeling based designing, software based production planning.
