Bry-Air global rights acquired by Indian company

Bry-Air (Asia), part of the Pahwa group, has acquired the global business interests and marketing rights from Bry-Air Inc., USA, which includes the Bry-Air brand and all trademarks of Bry-Air Inc., USA.
Bry-Air Inc. USA will remain an autonomous and financially independent corporation with manufacturing, sales and marketing rights licensed for USA, Canada and Mexico from Bry-Air (Asia).
This follows the acquisition by the Pahwa group earlier of Puriflair India from SPX Air-treatment, a Fortune global company, and an MOU with Blue Star Ltd. to provide quality air management equipment and solutions to the HVAC & R industry in Asia.
Deepak Pahwa, CMD announced at the recent board meeting that with these acquisitions and other business initiatives, the group is poised for a four fold increase in turnover by the end of this decade.
Bry-Air is a world leader in dehumidification and industrial air treatment with applications in practically every industry, ranging from pharma, food processing, plastics and electronics to hospitality and defence.
Pahwa Enterprises is a Rupees 110 crore plus operation with four manufacturing plants in India, a fully owned subsidiary in Malaysia and a network of offices in India, China, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Dubai, South Africa, Australia, Europe, USA and Brazil. Air Management Partnership . . . AIE and Blue Star sign MOU to promote IAQ

Arctic India Engineering Pvt. Ltd. (AIE), a world leader in manufacturing components and equipment for energy recovery and IAQ (Indoor Air Quality), and Blue Star Ltd., India's largest airconditioning and commercial refrigeration company, have joined hands to provide a Quality Air Management Equipment and Solutions to the HVAC&R Industry in Asia.
With six decades of experience in providing expert cooling solutions, Blue Star has been associated with the most prestigious corporate and commercial installations in the country. Under the MoU signed between the two organisations, AIE will provide Blue Star, Energy Recovery equipments like Ecofresh Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs) and Heat Recovery Wheels (HRWs) as well as its Ecocool Evaporative Cooling Pads based modules for Blue Star’s Air Cooled Chillers. Blue Star will develop Air Handing Units incorporating Heat Recovery Wheels and Heat Pipe coils manufactured by “AIE”.
The collaboration would help Blue Star to offer complete Air management solution including IAQ and Energy Saving to their customers worldwide.
In a joint statement, Mr. Deepak Pahwa, Managing Director, Arctic India Engineering Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. B. Thiagarajan, Vice President - Airconditioning & Refrigeration Service Division, Blue Star Ltd., said that the partnership's mission is to provide, promote and facilitate the usage quality air management equipment in the region which will allow people living and working in conditioned spaces to breathe better quality air at the same time help building owners and managers to cut down their energy costs.
According to AIE Managing Director Mr. Deepak Pahwa, “The joint effort aims to promote the concept of a “Quality Air Management” to a wider market that would focus on the energy recovery as well as provide better IAQ in conditioned spaces as people were beginning to spend almost 80% of their lives in airconditioned spaces. Energy resources were dwindling while energy costs and health related issues in conditioned spaces were spiraling. Thus, it was important that the leaders in the field joined hands together to promote energy saving and IAQ by quality Air Management in the Conditioned spaces.
The AIE-Blue Star partnership is an attempt to join hands in solving some of the most critical problems faced by HVAC&R Industry.

Fellow ASHRAE (American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) is a membership grade that recognizes distinction in the arts and science of environmental technology. The honor is earned through achievement as a researcher, designer, educator or engineering executive and is conferred upon approval by the Society’s Honors and Awards Committee and the Board of Directors.
Since its inception, ASHRAE has honored about 525 of its 55,000 (current) members, worldwide, as “Fellows” ( currently, about 250 of the 525 are living ). In India, six (6) HVAC&R stalwarts have been honored as “Fellows”, Mr. Pahwa being one of them.

Bry-Air Learning Institute provides a forum for advanced learning in the field of HVAC & R. The institute trains the professional engineers in innovative concepts and technologies.
The institute also provides a platform for specialists across the world in HVAC & R field to interact and exchange views.
The objective of the Institute is to:
• Provide advanced learning in the field of HVAC & R.
