What is Dehumidification?
Dehumidify or dehumidification - literally means "pulling out or removing" the moisture/humidity from the air. The dictionary defines dehumidification as the process of removing atmospheric moisture.
Methods of Dehumidification
Dehumidification can be split into three methods, they are:
* Air Conditioning - Dehumidification by increasing the total pressure or compressing the air
* Desiccant Dehumidification (also known as Chemical Dehumidification) - In this method a desiccant material or drying substance is introduced into the airstream to remove moisture
* Mechanical Dehumidification (also known as Refrigerative Dehumidification) - It is the method of removing humidity by cooling the air to condense the water vapor
Desiccant dehumidifier is most accepted system across industries for ensuring required humidity conditions. It is one of the most energy friendly methods of dehumidification. A desiccant dehumidifier has added advantage, it can function equally well at extremely low to very high levels of humidity without regeneration problems and no changes in cycle control. Its versatility in performing in any type of application is unique among the methods of drying air.
To explain further, desiccant dehumidification is a simple way to obtain dry air is to use desiccants (adsorbents or materials that have a natural affinity for water). A desiccant is able to take up the additional moisture given up by the air without changing its size or shape. So an air stream can pass through a desiccant and become significantly drier without elaborate cooling, compression, or other complex systems or controls. After the drying task is complete, the desiccant is dried using hot air in a process called regeneration, and is ready to dry more air.
* Desiccant dehumidification is most accepted method of dehumidification across industries
* Desiccant dehumdifier are energy efficient
* It can maintain RH level as low 1%.

Bry-Air desiccant dehumidifier provides the most effective and economical solutions to humidity related problems. Available in standard (Compact) as well as customized (Engineered) models. Bry-Air dehumidifier can maintain relative as low as 1% regardless of the ambient conditions.
This simple device is manufactured in two designs, Compact Dehumidifier and Engineered Dehumidifier. Although they are available in many sizes, from very small to very large to meet various dry air requirements.
Compact dehumidifiers (FFB series), capacity ranges 170cmh through 3000 cmh, are designed to integrate "small footprint and finish" of a commercial unit with "the ruggedness" of an industrial dehumidifier. The BRY-AIR FFB compact dehumidifier removes moisture through a process of continuous "physical adsorption". It is small sized, light weighed with numerous mounting position are possible like on floor, table top, wall bracket, ceiling suspended. Click here for more information on Compact Dehumidifier
