Sugar
being hygroscopic, absorbs moisture very quickly during processing,
creating operational problems during packaging. Refined sugar
is fed via belt conveyors to sugar bins or hoppers. The sugar
has to be cooled before it can be packaged. If cooled by conventional
method the cooling takes about 12-35 hours during which condensation
takes place on the bin ceiling. This results in lumping of top
layer and deterioration in quality.
Bry-Air Dehumidifiers lower the humidity to desired level to
help the sugar retain its quality. Cool dry air also helps to
cool down the sugar faster after refining without problems of
condensation during transfer to the storage bins.
Now you too can install a Bry-Air Dehumidifier and be one-up
on your competitors. |
